Any internet marketer knows that if you want to be really successful in this online world then you have to build a list, because the money is in the list! In order to do so you are best to find a service that helps you automate the system and create outstanding emails… Well, there are many options out there, and today we will be exploring Mailchimp.
I will give you a 100% honest Mailchimp review so that you are able to see both the pros and cons of using their services for your emailing needs.
I personally use Mailchimp that’s why I chose to do this Mailchimp review, I want to share what I’ve found with all of you.
A Helping Hand
For me internet marketing is something that can be very daunting, but if you continue learning along the way then you’ll be just fine. That’s why I really appreciate the fact that Mailchimp provides video and ebook resources that provide great advice on how to set-up campaigns and truly take full advantage of their services. Their resources cover topics like transactional emails, mobile devices, managing lists, and many other relevant email marketing topics and they even provide tools that can help you analyse subject lines potential performance based on past performances.
This brings me to my next point about Mailchimp. They provide great analytical tracking tools that can give you in-depth reports on things like open and click rates, opens by location, bounces, unsubscribes, and so much more.
They even connect with Google analytics so that you can make sure that you’re content is also tracking will with Google, because let’s face it, everybody wants to be on Google’s good side, right?
Trust me when I say that being able to track your email campaigns in the way that Mailchimp allows you to is extremely important, because you need to know if you’re doing anything wrong so that you can make adjustments… Simple!
Keep Things Mobile
If you’re like me then you’re never just sitting at home doing nothing; you’re always on the go… People to see, places to go. Well, Mailchimp allows you to access your dashboard via your mobile so you can always keep up to date with what’s going on with your accounts.
Free Plan Available
Now, I don’t mean to sound like a cheapskate, but I really love it when I can get good quality products and services free, and that’s exactly what Mailchimp offer. There is a free plan available called the ‘Forever Free Plan‘, and with this plan you’re able to send up to 12,000 emails per month, but only if you have fewer than 2,000 subscribers.
Once you want to reach past those subscriber limitations than you would have to opt for a paid package, but for anyone still building their list, the Forever Free Plan is perfect.
Okay, it’s Not All Good News
The only down side I could find with Mailchimp is that once you’ve reached your 2,000 subscriber threshold, it can become quite pricey to continue using their services. You can check out their pricing plans here and make the decision as to whether or not you’d want to go down that road, but also remember that their are alternatives out there.
